Founded in the 1960s, the United States Educational Foundation in Nepal (USEF-Nepal) has been providing guidance and assistance every year to thousands of students who want to pursue their higher education in the United States. USEF-Nepal is also known as the Fulbright Commission, and conducts educational exchange activities between the United States and Nepal. Apart from administering the Fulbright Scholarship and other programs, USEF-Nepal houses Nepal's only 'EducationUSA' Advising Center, which provides a broad range of information to Nepali students interested in studying in the United States.

USEF-Nepal's ‘Education USA’ Advising Center, is supported by the United States government and is part of a global network of more than 450 advising centers in 170 countries that work to provide accurate, reliable, unbiased, and free information on studying in the United States. Among our advising center’s services are group advising, individual advising, library services, computer-based testing, pre-tests, transcript attestation, and free information sessions. Core services are offered to students entirely free of cost.
