Welcome to the Yahoo! group of the Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Alliance (GLBTA) at the University of South Alabama. GLBTA is a student-run, community-based organization open to persons of all gender and sexual orientations. In addition to offering a safe-haven to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender men and women in the area to freely socialize and discuss issues affecting their lives, GLBTA attempts to educate the university and community at large on matters of discrimination, harassment, human rights, and in general getting along.
