After you sign up, please introduce yourself to the Pod with a quick post.

Each posting must be marked clearly and succinctly in the title line. The point is to help other podders identify which postings to open and which to skip. Please use the following category lead-ins:

[Announce]: For publicizing events, readings, concerts, etc.
[Intro]: Introducing yourself to the pod.
[Jobs]: Employment leads, job queries.
[Link]: Sites, curiosities, internet godsends.
[Origins]: The story behind a story you've had published
[Rant]: Seethe on your subject line topic.
[Rave]: Praise, shrines to writers, epiphanies, joy.
[ReadMe]: Post your latest published piece or tell us where to find it.
[PodBiz]: Suggestions, gripes, praise for UPOD itself.
[PodMind]: A higher-minded QuickSeek. For bigger ideas, deeper questions.
[QuikSeek]: Need editor contacts? Celebrity contacts? The name of the Brady Bunch's dog?
[TK]: Miscellaneous. Just be clear in the subject line.

Note: There is a zero tolerance policy for rudeness, meanness or incivility on the Pod.

I will attempt to police these rules but since I do have another life, feel free to blow the whistle on offenders with a posting under the heading [PodBiz].
