The UP StreetDance Club is one of the most prominent dance organizations present in the country today. The Club is duly recognized by the University of the Philippines, Diliman. It was formed in 1997 by a group of students in order to provide a venue for creative expression. It also aims to supervise training in various forms and styles of streetdance. Its pioneer members were those students who were, at that time, taking basic and advanced streetdance classes under Mr. Jerome Dimalanta. He eventually became the club director.

At present, they have been planning other socio-civic programs to share their God-given talents to other people.

The club continues to harness talents and skills, instill values of teamwork, discipline and develop a critical eye for stage performance among its members.

The club performs in different campus events such as Strit Indakan, Dance Away culminating activity of CHK, Bayle and UP Pep Squad's Elevate Concert. They have also been involved in activities that promote a healthier lifestyle such as Fitness Explosion, Dance Away from Drugs Concert with the Manoeuvres. The Club has also organized workshops within the UP Campus.

The UP StreetDance Club has joined several dance competitions in and out of the campus. They have joined and have won in inter-university competitions such as Dancelebration, Danztek, JiG and Prodanz. This year (2003), they have won first place in the RX 93.1 Rhythm Street, DansQuest, Green Cross Funky Fragrance Dance Competition, and Dancelebration.
