This list is a place for Minnesota unschoolers to get together and discuss unschooling ideas. An unschooled child can choose what they want to learn and do, live in freedom and find a great joy. Unschooling is living life, from watching TV or playing video games to painting, raising animals--everything!

Unschooling is *not* a hands-off type of parenting or living, it will often include a parent or guardian. If you are coming to this from conventional parenting it can be a leap of faith. Faith in your child as a human. Unschooling can question some traditional thoughts that usually don't get questioned in other circles. Such as kids making their own choices, not unaccompanied, but not controlled either. There can be a balance, living your lives together.
