The media is the primary filter through which we perceive the world. It affects opinions, policies, attitudes, and understanding. The media has failed in the West to educate and inform, rather it has devolved into entertainment and propaganda in service of the current prevailing political attitudes. The Fourth Estate has become nothing more than a fawning footstool for the Executive Branch. The UNMEDIA blog and group are not media in any traditional sense of the world. But blogs and political campaigns such as the Dean campaign do provide an alternate course for the data to flow. This group is an evolving archive of sources and articles that are used as grist for that mill. The articles here are for reference and posterity, and may or may not be discussed at length on the UNMEDIA blog or at the Dean Nation blog. But they are public and open to all. I hope that this archive serves you as well as it does me.
