Description

Unity Church of Christianity is for Unity members and friends of the New Thought Unity church founded by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore. Unity Church of Christianity is based on metaphysical interpretations of the Bible, and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Unity Church of Christianity is headquartered in Unity Village, MO, with over 900 Unity churches and Unity study groups around the world. Unity Church also publishes "The Daily Word", a daily devotional as well as maintains "Silent Unity", a prayer ministry that takes prayer requests over the phone, via mail and email. Unity Church of Christianity is the largest New Thought church today. Unity Church is also known as "Practical Christianity", and teaches upon the five Unity principles:

1. God is absolute good, everywhere present.

2. Human beings have a spark of divinity within them, the Christ Spirit within. Their very essence is of God, and therefore they are inherently good also.

3. Human beings create their experiences by the activity of their liking. Everything in the manifest realm has its beginning in thought.

4. Prayer is creative thinking that heightens the connection with God-Mind and therefore brings forth wisdom, healing , prosperity, and everything good.

5. Knowing and understanding the laws of life, also called Truth, are not enough. A person must also live the Truth that he or she knows.

Re: Hi, Just Joined
Hi Joseph, Yes, I went to your other web site and bookmarked it. I ended up reading all the posts on your Beliefnet forum and presently feel rather brain-dead.
