Yet again I marvel at the wonders of the Internet and this group is a
great blessing to those WNC Unitics flung far and wide. Unity Arden
was my spiritual home from 1992-1997 and the family and community
there remain right smack in the center of my heart. There is NO music
like that of Lyte, Dave, Joel, Pete and all the guest musicians who
regularly contribute to the melody of WNC Unity. (and seeing and
hearing Michael on the drums was thrilling!) When I visited in July,
Nancy Glowacki introduced a new song that was so moving and powerful
that I sat awestruck. And Chad, well it only takes one Chad service
to know you will never experience anything like it again. When I'm
feeling blue, lonely, confused, frustrated, I can take out one of the
zillions of well-worn Chad cassettes and in about an hour and a half I
feel refreshed and ready to move on. No matter the warts, my church
family remains this merry band in Fletcher and I'm happy to be able to
connect each day in a small way with the energy and exploration that
keeps us in the flow.
