Description

1. We are a secular homeschool group based in Oklahoma City. We may follow many different spiritual / religious / life paths, but we honor and respect each other as human beings.

2. We are inclusive of all homeschooling approaches and learning styles.

3. We are a participation-based group. On average, each family is asked to participate in an activity once every two months as well as contribute to online discussions and polls.

4. Right now, we are focused on activities for young children through "elementary" years.

5. Monthly activities will be held primarily within Oklahoma City. We have the following activities on a monthly basis: Morning of Learning (we choose a theme and all families bring a game, craft, or activity based on that theme); Care Group (community volunteering, handmade gifts for the elderly, etc) or Earth Scouts; Play Day; Field Trip or Mini Festival (seasonal parties).
