Purpose of the UK-Royalty list

The purpose of this list is to discuss anything that is somehow related to the

British Royal Family. So yes, we can talk about the late Princess Diana,
Fergie, the

Queen, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker-Bowles, Buckingham Palace, Windsor
Castle

etc etc. But please stick to discussion about the **British** royal family. If

there is anything you want to discuss about any other royal family or
monarchy,

then please stick to the alt.talk.royalty newsgroup or set up a seperate

mailing list.



Posting to the list

To send a message to the uk-royalty mailinglist you need to use the following

address: uk-royalty@oaktree.co.uk

Only subscribers to the list will be able to post. 'Reply to' is set to
'sender'

which means that replies don't automatically go to the entire list. Keep
this in

mind when you are replying to a message and you want it to go to the
entire list,

rather than just to the original sender.



Other list information

For privacy reasons you won't be able to find out who's on the list.

Unfortunately it has happened in the past that people subscribed to

a discussion list, got a list of all subscribers and sent unsollicited
mail to all

of them, followed by unsubscribing themselves.



Bounced Messages

================

As this list can generate quite a lot of messages, it's probably a good
idea if you

unsubscribe when you go on holiday or won't be able to access your mail
for a few

days. If, for whatever reason, a message from the list to you has
'bounced' three times,

you will be unsubscribed from the l
