Description

Students for Science and Skepticism is a student organization, promoting science and critical thinking, at the University of California, Irvine. We will have a Darwin Day event on February 12. Our previous speakers have included JAMES RANDI (pictured), Joe Nickell, and others.

By "skeptic", we mean those committed to the scientific method and interested in the work done by organizations like CSICOP and the Skeptics Society. For more information about skepticism, also see the FAQ's at: skepdic.com/faq.html and www.cs.uu.nl/wais/html/na-dir/skeptic-faq.html.

This is a discussion list, and as such, can sometimes have a high volume. To join our announcement-only list, go to sss-uci.
