This is the official listserv for the Federal University of Technology Makurdi, University of Jos Makurdi Campus, and University of Agriculture, Makurdi (UAM) Nigeria Alumni Association - the Great Makurdians!. The University of Agriculture Makurdi is one of three specialized Universities of Agriculture established by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 1988.

The University was first established as Federal University of Technology Makurdi FUTM in 1981 as one of three premier Federal Universities of Technology. In 1985, the Federal University of Technology Makurdi became a campus of the University of Jos. It was then known as the University of Jos, Makurdi Campus until 1988 when it became a Federal University of Agriculture.

This list is restricted to only members of the Federal University of Technology Makurdi, University of Jos Makurdi Campus and University of Agriculture Makurdi, and alumni. It is intended for networking among the alumni, discussion of all matters of interest to the UAM alumni worldwide, and for sharing current information regarding our alma mater.
