You do not need to own a TVR or be a TVRCC member to be on the list, but it helps and is of course encouraged!

This list was started to make it easier for people to distribute and discuss information, due to the high volume (50 plus emails a day! on the list) without getting swamped or spammed. The egroups route was chosen because it offered flexibility for people to take delivery of their messages, along with a searchable archive!

You can select to have each message delivered just once a day with all the emails listed in full (called a Full digest), OR to collect the messages on the web site (read it on the web). [for those setting up for web based access, please goto your profile and turn off bi-weekly notifications, if you want NO emails - otherwise it will tell you twice a week how many msgs you have not yet read!]

Please try to keep all messages under 100K. No responsibility is taken for the content of any message and common sense about internet email should prevail. The list has the intent to answer technical questions and should be kept "on topic" where possible. A good subject line helps people weed out messages they don't want and keeps things kinda friendly! (ie subj:"tech Grif500 lights" or "tech: S3 hood" or "off topic - spotted")
