MY HUSBAND WOKE UP TWO YEARS AGO WITH A HOLE IN HIS LEG MIDWAY BETWEEN HIS KNEE AND ANKLE ON HIS LEFT LEG. AT FIRST THE DOCTOR THOUGHT IT WAS FROM A SPIDER. THEY HAVE DONE VEIN surgery, SKIN GRAPH, THEY EXCISES IT AND STITCHED IT TOGETHER BUT YET IT KEEPS OPENING UP. THE DOCTOR CANNOT FIGURE OUT WHAT IT IS CAUSED FROM. WE DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GO FROM HERE. THE DOCTOR SAID THAT HE WAS GOING TO LOOK INTO THE POSSIBLE CONNECTION OF THE GULF WAR. IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THINGS TO TRY PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

My husband was in the Gulf. He regularly gets large sores on his feet and legs. Most look like burns or raw blisters, some get very deep. The VA doctors tell us that it's stress! The only way I've found to help it is keep it clean, and uncovered as much as possible.  Sue

I had similar symptoms from the war. I do not get them as severe as what was described by the others but I do get open "HOLES" in my skin that never heal and last for 6-7 months before any relief. Then as if a miracle it goes away and shows up in another spot. Never more then one place at a time. Dr. are really no help. Casey Jofriday77@...
