Description

The Phoenix Project is a revolving community (meaning people come and go - by arrangement - so that there is no fixed 'power structure'). The aim of the project is to achieve self-sufficiency, and to learn the skills required for this. It began in 2007 as 'The Utopia Experiment' (TUE), but has since evolved into a skills exchange project in which those involved learn from each other. We plan to become more involved in the local community around the Black Isle, a peninsula to the North-West of Inverness, Scotland.

We have no fixed management, organisation and planning is up to those who get involved. We need people to be involved by spending time both there and online. You'll have immense opportunities to gain skills, experience and knowledge that will serve you well, and it is certainly true that the more you put in, the more you’ll get out of it. Visit our website too, at www.phoenixproject.org.uk

Re: Frodo's Solution: Context
So basically we're all doomed. Why fight then? Why try to escape the inescapable? Instead of preparing for a catastrophe that probably won't happen til you're

This is going to be a series of at least 4 posts, an alternative name might be 'Plan C', we are embarked on 'Plan A' and that destroys us and more, 'Plan B' is
