KPFT interview tonight   Message List

I had the privilege of being interviewed by Jone Devlin on KPFT/Pacifica FM 90.1 FM (live streamed on kpft.org)tonight on the Lesbian and Gay Voices program about our rallies today and the issues related to this election.
After a while, longtime Houston activist Ray Hill joined us in the studio to take part in the discussion. Ray won a US Supreme Court case against HPD and the City of Houston, so he talked about the character of the justices on the Big Bench, since he had experienced them first hand himself. Ray said that the US Supreme Court is about to expose themselves to the American voting public in the same manner as a flasher on Main St. would to a bus full of school kids. Ray certainly has a way of putting things. (I've also had experience as a plaintiff in a Federal Court case against the cops and the city.) Ray told the listeners that we are about to lose faith in the last remaining American political institution of any recognized stature.
I signed off the show by urging people to go to the CounterCoup.org website and help us plan future demonstrations. At that, Ray gave me a smile and a wink.
