PROTEST IN CHARLOTTE 11/18/2000
We are standing witness to a grave
injustice happening in our Presidential
Election. Nationwide, more people have
cast their votes for one candidate
-he has won by nearly 200,000 votes
(almost the population of our entire
city)-, yet his opposition will not
concede defeat. By clinging on to the
corrupted vote in Florida he is attempting
to openly thwart Democracy. This must not
happen in a Nation that calls itself free.
This is a meeting place
for anyone in the Charlotte area who is interested
in attending the upcoming rally in protest
of the disenfranchisement of Voters in
the State of Florida in our ongoing
Presidential Debacle. The rally is set for
Charlotte, NC on Saturday, November 18th 2000
at 1 pm. We will continue to demonstrate
every following Saturday until the people's
voice is both heard and acknowledged
