Trollope-l is a listserv group where we read and discuss Trollope's work in the context of that of his Victorian contemporaries using modern as well as scholarly critical perspectives. We read biographies and histories, discuss art, music, politics, history, and cultures in the 19th century and film adaptations.

Current Reading: Trollope's The Duke's Children; starting July: all Trollope's short stories. Victorian books: for the summer season: Richard Reeve's Victorian Firebrand: John Stuart Mill, Edgeworth's Patronage, Oliphant's Miss Marjoribanks or Paul Scott's _Raj Quartet_ Fall: An autumn of Scott, a retrospective.
