This group is for TRI COUNTY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB MEMBERS ONLY and is to be used as a tool to keep our membership informed. It is for the promotion of Amateur Radio and the affairs of Tri County Amateur Radio Club. This group and e-mail reflector should be used ONLY for affairs that relate to and promote amateur radio. IT SHALL NOT BE USED MAKE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT A GROUP MEMBER OR MEMBERS NOR TO PASS OR FORWARD JOKES, MESSAGES OF A POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER NATURE NOT DIRECTLY RELATED TO AMATEUR RADIO IN GENERAL AND/OR TRI-COUNTY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB AND IT'S MEMBERS. INDIVIDUALS WHO ABUSE THIS POLICY WILL BE EXPELLED FROM THE REFLECTOR WITHOUT WARNING.

The Tri County Amateur Radio Club is home to amateur radio operators and radio enthusiasts in Jackson, Hall and Barrow counties - Georgia USA and is open to all no matter where you live. We prepare for disaster communications support in times of emergency through our local ARES, C.E.R.T. and Skywarn efforts.

The club maintains three open repeaters for the convenience of all amateur radio operators. The repeaters are as follows:

2 Meter WX4TC Repeater 146.625 -600.0Khz PL 127.3

440 W4CLE Repeater 441.825 +5.00Mhz PL 88.5

D-Star WJ4FD Repeater 440.5875 + 5.00Mhz

We encourage you to join our club, however these repeaters are open repeaters and are available to all amateurs regardless if you are a member or not.

Tri County Amateur Radio Club is an ARRL Affiliated and has ARRL Special Service Club status. The club meets on the 4th Monday of each month at the police department in Braselton, GA at 7:00 PM. Every amateur radio operator is invited to participate and attend the meetings. The club sponsors regular license classes and exams.
