This is a social group for families of homeschooled teens in the Cary/Apex/Raleigh NC area. Our focus is to provide teens with opportunities to meet, interact and build friendships. We have regularly occurring activities and are always on the look out for new and interesting things to do.
FAQ's:

1. Membership Requirements:

a) Have a homeschooled pre-teen--child who is 12 or older or who will turn twelve within one year of joining.

b) Regularly participate in group activities. The group meets once a week on Wednesdays; members are expected to attend activities at least two times a month.

And the list goes on....

3. Am I expected to to attend fee-based events?

Some of our events have admission costs. Such events are strictly voluntary. Whenever possible, we try to find low-cost/free activities; however, sometimes, activities that catch our interest require money.

4. When/where you do meet?

Our regular meeting day, at this time, is Wednesday in the afternoon at local facilities in Cary/Apex/Garner area. During the summer, we usually switch to the morning hours to avoid the heat.

6. What about siblings?

Whenever possible, siblings are welcome to join in. Occasionally, they must be excluded. As a teen group, our focus is finding things for teens to do. Our youngest is ten years old.

7. Are you a faith-based group?

We are a secular group.
