Long gone are the days when translators worked quietly alone. Translators today can connect with colleagues in virtual meeting-spaces regardless of the place where they live.

Translat2000 is just such a virtual community. Though not the proper forum for particular technical questions--such as, how to say "Entladungslampe" in Arabic--our discussions, nevertheless, also deal with technical questions as illustrations of theoretical issues.
