Just to be clear, only the name has changed. The group has the same principles (keeping things out of land fill), and mostly the same members. WHY FREEGLE? Freegle is a new UK-wide umbrella organisation, formed by experienced volunteers and members of the free reuse community. Most Freegle groups were formerly part of The Freecycle Network. We are really excited to be part of Freegle! All groups within Freegle belong to a truly grass roots movement that values and respects its members and volunteers. And in the process, we continue to keep usable items out of landfill. We would love to welcome you into the Freegle family. The former group, "Trafford Freecycle" will continue on the commercially funded network, under the sole control of one person. If you wish to be part of it you will find it at www.freecycle.org.
