Tradcatholic is a list for adult (single or married, younger or older) traditional Catholics, particularly those who belong to parishes served by priests of the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX). Its purpose is to publicize social and religious events in their parishes and discuss general issues which concern Catholics. (N.B. This list is neither sponsored nor endorsed by the SSPX.)

Membership is open to anyone who attends a traditional Catholic parish or is interested in the Catholic Church. This list is supportive of and endorses the work of the SSPX; therefore, list moderators reserve the right to caution, modify posting privileges, or revoke membership of anyone who demeans or denigrates the work of the SSPX or its priests, openly supports sedevacantism or other outright schism, advocates a position which serves to fragment the traditional Catholic community, or denies the traditional teaching of the Catholic Church.
