We are a private support group for parents of children from Toukoul Orphanage in Addis Ababa Ethiopia, as well as parents considering adopting through Toukoul. This includes families using Adoption Avenues, Tree of Life, Dove and other affiliates in the US, along with European adoption agencies. This board is NOT affiliated with any adoption agency. No agency personnel have access to this group. Please feel safe to discuss anything regarding your Toukoul adoption ... good or bad.

We will discuss agencies, international adoption in general, ethiopian adoption in particular, as well as parenting and blended family issues.

We are here to love and support one another. We are cheerleaders for adoption, adoptees and adoptive parents/families.

Toukoul is not a faith-based orphanage and this is not a faith-based group. We respect everyone's background including (but not limited to)ethnicity, country of origin and faith. However, that respect also means we don't openly promote or discuss any faith-based topic or view-point.

This group is NOT moderated or censored. We are all adults and can determine appropriate language/topics.
