Welcome to the Tooele Freecycle (TM) Group! The goal of our network is to reduce waste by connecting individuals who are throwing away goods with others who are seeking them. Whether you are looking to acquire something, or declutter and get rid of things, this is the place to come! The only thing we ask is that all offers are free, legal, and appropriate for all ages.

Tooele Freecycle (TM) Group Etiquette:

1) **Post an OFFER before a WANT.** Freecycle(TM) is about GIVING!

2) Subject Line. Please include your city, & limit your subject line to one of these opening phrases:
OFFER: old couch. (Tooele)
TAKEN: old couch (Tooele) [Posted by person GIVING the item...NOT the person RECEIVING the item]
WANTED: old couch (Erda)
RECEIVED: old couch (Erda)
ADMIN: ONLY used by moderators (to give you new information, be sure to read these!)

**In order to keep the amount of group emails reasonable, please do not use "PROMISED" or other opening phrases.**

3) **PICK UP WITHIN 72 HOURS**. We've got a great little community here so when you arrange to pick up an item from another Freecycle member, it is basic good manners to accommodate them as much as possible in terms of scheduling, and then be punctual; they are, after all, giving you something you need and asking nothing in return except that you will show up when you say you will.

4) NO POLITICS, NO SPAM, NO MONEY-RELATED POSTS, NO PERSONAL ATTACKS, NO PROSELYTIZING, NO SWAPPING/BARTERING/TRADING/RENTING. Two strikes & you're out.

New members will be moderated. All members are required to read the Freecycle Etiquette posts/emails for the latest group rules and tips.
