Tom Tancredo has broader grassroots support than any other candidate, and has strong appeal among moderates, mainstream conservatives, paleoconservatives, and paleolibertarians.

Although previously in favor of free trade, Tom Tancredo has recently grown more skeptical. (Historically, conservatives have opposed free trade, and they should. It is destroying our economy and undermining our sovereignty.) Tancredo also has become a critic of the NAFTA superhighway system.
