Are you looking for Tried 'N' True recipes that are guaranteed to be great--recipes that are test driven? Or maybe you're looking for a family favorite or something that Grandma used to make? Then, TNT-Recipes is the place for you!

All of our recipes are tried and true...posted by someone who has personally made the recipe or knows someone who has. Many of our recipes will have cooks' comments or variations included. Feel free to comment on any recipes you try: tell us how it turned out, what changes you made, or the special event when this recipe was used. If you find a "gotta try" recipe here, feel free to ask any questions you may have about ingredient substitutions or cooking method changes.

Please post ONLY tried and true recipes here--recipes made by you personally or by someone that you know firsthand. Recipes can be from any source and in any format (generic, Mastercook [MC], Big Oven, Now You're Cooking [NYC], etc.), but they MUST be tried by you and have turned out well. Be prepared! You are expected to address questions about the recipes. Discussion and chat are welcome and expected. Members can assist other members with finding a "perfect" recipe.

In the "old" days, recipes were lovingly copied by hand and shared with close friends or relatives, and the recipient knew the recipe was a "good" one. In fact, the dish had probably already been tasted and the recipe requested. We're attempting to recreate those good old days of recipe sharing but with the power of the internet to send our TNT recipes to interested cooks all around the globe.
