This list was originally designed to notify subscribers of happenings regarding Tennessee's open records law. With the law being upheld by the Tennessee Supreme Court and the court battle over, this list is now a discussion list for Tennessee adoptees.

Topics can be anything relevant to Tennessee adoptees, but particular emphasis may be on the process for getting records under Tennessee's open records law. However, this list is not the place to debate the contact veto provision, the rape/incest disclosure veto, or anything else that may be considered controversial about the Tennessee law.

Solicitations on the list are NOT permitted. All new list members will initially be set to moderated in an effort to discourage solicitations and spamming.
