This list is specifically designed to serve fellow Toastmasters in both District 65 and the rest of the world.

District 65 encompasses a majority of New York State, ranging from Utica to Binghamton, Buffalo, Dunkirk, Olean, Rochester, Syracuse, and all cities inbetween.

A goal of the list is to promote the sharing of information across District 65, such as contests, Toastmaster opportunities, District website updates, and Conference information.

The goal of this list is to have communication and ideas spread between individual toastmasters and clubs.

Objectives: to make all clubs stronger, allow clubs to broadcast if speakers are needed, and any division/district announcements to be sent.

Membership: all Toastmasters who want to join. We are not looking at this to be an exclusive group, either of officers or even District 65-only Toastmasters. We are also not looking for this to be a gripe board or something exclusive. We see this as another way we can communicate and spread the word.

This is also something anyone off the street can send messages to asking about Toastmasters and what it entails.

How does toastmasters make even the most timid of persons a professional speaker/motivator?

We offer a comprehensive speech/mentoring program which involves everyone. At each meeting of toastmasters, all members of the meeting become involved in every aspect of speech development:

Evaluating
Grammar
Timing
Different speaking situations
Vocabulary improvement

A large portion of our work is concentrated within the entire group. We have experience working with other business industries as well.
