I have to admit that I am with the 18% who are for lowering the drinking age. I always believed that teenage problems are related to their transition from being kids to entering the adult world. I remember myself as a teenager, everytime time my parents say yes for someting I wanted to do, I just don't do it. I used to liked to challenge any restraints and restrictions.Lowering the drinking age will make teenagers think that they don't have to prove themselves through drinking. I believe by age 21 they will think about more important things like their future, instead of being all excited about reaching the age of drinking.
