Three Cities is a group of emerging contemporary artists living and working in and around the cities of Macon, Milledgeville, and Athens, Georgia brought together to curate art exhibitions and encourage communication and exchange between artists. Our belief is that in this age of globalization, artists living outside major metropolitan areas will be able to have a greater voice in shaping the future of contemporary art. In the past, major cities were considered the center of all things art in America, but as the digital revolution makes information more accessible, artists living in smaller communities will be able to establish themselves within the framework of the American and international art worlds.
