Thimmakkas Resources for Environmental Education is a 501(c)(3)organization dedicated to providing environmental information to the South Asian community globally, and to offer solutions to current environmental problems from our South Asian culture.
Mission:
We seek to mobilize the urban consumer, particularly the South Asian community toward environmentalism and social justice. We seek to educate and inform people of the connection between excessive and ecologically damaging consumption and its adverse effects on our health and environment. We seek to provide solutions or alternatives from the South Asian culture to current health and environmental problems.
