Description

The Volunteer Company is a group of Living Historians who portray Soldiers and Civilians of the War Between the States (American Civil War) 1861-65.

Based in the UK, the Company is part of the Southern Skirmish Association (SOSKAN,) which was founded in 1968 and is, along with the Sealed Knot, one of the oldest Re-enactment groups in the World.
We regulary hold and attend events with other like minded groups, the 55thva, LazyJacks Mess as the American Eagles Society, in England,Europe and the US.
