PLEASE NOTE: I've just defeated breast cancer, and have been declared cancer free. However, I still have additional reconstruction surgery upcoming.

The group is still very active, however. I'm sharing this with you in the event that you apply for membership, as I might not get back to you right away. Hopefully, within the next 6 months, I'll be back to ruling with an IRON fist - giggle!

Our homeschool group is very diverse & includes around 250 families. We're located around the Lehigh Valley area in PA. We're based in a small town called Palm, PA, but are close to Quakertown, East Greenville,Souderton, & Emmaus. Some homeschool the traditional way, & others cyber school. We're not affiliated with any religion, however, I'd say most are Christian. We invite members from all walks of life. I would say we have more children over the age of 8, with many pre-teens & teens. However, we often get together with another homeschool group that has smaller children. We meet frequently, and we organize lots of outings. If you have questions about homeschooling, feel free to ask! We welcome new members!

We just had our 2010 Back to School picnic, & we have homeschool bowling & our homeschool matinee (Nanny McPhee) is also upcoming. We've begun to put park days together, and there's a Christmas party & a Christmas Dance (for teens) upcoming. We'll also welcome Sen. Bob Mensch, who's going to speak to us in October.

When you request membership, you should receive an automatic email requesting a little bit of information about you. Once I get that information back, I'll approve your membership. That's it!
