uses it, due to his laziness. Was noticed by Akio when he found Davin
getting yelled at by a female teacher for stealing her riding crop.
Akio brought Davin to his office after Davin was in a fistfight in the
courtyard in the school. Akio thought that Davin's style of fighting
was "interesting" and "brutal". Akio talked with the young man for
several hours to get threw to him. After the meeting Davin found a
letter on his bed with the Rose Ring in it and a letter instructing
him to "follow his fate". Uses a whip and a pair of metal gauntlets as
his dueling weapons. When fighting he targets the weapon first then
the rose. Prefers to keep his enemies either at a distance or unsually
close. When angry his fighting style becomes more feral.

I've started a new board for game posts, but I'm getting stuck up on
writing rules. I want to have the rules and character bio posted
there before I link it in this one.

I think I'll use this one for OOC stuff, so we don't clutter up the

digging up my Utena tapes. And, hey, you do have some Utena under
your belt, which is why I think you can handle this(you saw the
movie at my house in the week before I left and you've got a large
part of the manga canon down). If you need help, just give me an e-
mail.

To DJ - Amron brings up some good points about your application,
you'll probably want to change some things and discuss it further
with him(he's doing a good job as it is, so ^^;; I'll leave him to

that's kinda the point...we assume (through what was shown in the manga) That

Arround the time the general populous of the school learned of the
duels, several video tapes depicting various crimes against students
(be they of a sexual nature or otherwise)
(DJ just so you know..akio is EXTREMELY discrete about such things.
the duels are pretty much unknown to the general school population.
most students do not recognize the signifigance of the roses or
challenges and do not even know the dueling arena exists.  They know
that the forest behind the school if forbidden, but most dont know
why. Furthermore, akio has a LOT of people under his influence, very
POWERFUL people so wherever the leak was, its probably long since
dead or returned to the fold)

were fingered in a drug trafficking scandal...then they just up and
dissapeared.He and his sister moved to Ireland to live with relatives until Gabe
turned 21,
at which time he returned and became an LAPD cop just like his
parents,hopeing to find out what happened to his folks.Arround the time the
general populous
of the school learned of the duels, several video tapes depicting various
crimes against students (be they of a sexual nature or otherwise) arrived at the
doorsteps of parents of school students,includeing a Ms.Tenjou,who just
recently became a US citizen...her neice attends the academy. Due to the DARPA
act,
which permits US government offices or police forces to pursue international
crimes involving US citizens, the LAPD immediately assigned the case to him....

Hello Ashie....
yes. the rpg hasnt started just yet, so feel
free..currently im taking Anthy and Utena, as well as
Akio (unless you would rather). Shini has chosen Touga
and Tsuwabuki and DJ has decided to play an additional
character.  I may also relinquish control of Anthy and
Utena at a later date once the situation with them has
been established.  (since once more, the roles will be
reversed.  that is something i believe SHOULD be kept
from the old rpg...though i do have my own ideas as to
how that should go.
so feel free to pic from the remaining characters or
design a new one.
also in your previous email DJ, you said you were
having some difficluty with the character sheet..
i will be home after 5 pm Pacific standard time
tommorow, if you would like some help with deciphering
it. (this goes for you two ashie..)

Hi im new im intreasted in Utena and I wonder If I could join or
something like that though I have only read up to the third book in
the manga and seen an Utena movie but that was it though I am realy
intereasted in Utena.Well i guess thats it maybe I can read some of

Thanks hon...we probably SHOULD go through the old rpg..Im not going
to bring amron back though...as sad as i am to say it...he, and
Ixchak are going to remain it what WAS...
No new character idea's from me..at least not yet.  we should
probably coordinate a time to be online together soas to talk about
it mod to mod.  Im already hatching an Anthy post (feels strange to
be playing anthy for once) and once i work out the kinks, ill post
it to the rpg.
As for your character wolfwood, it would make sense...akio's
corruption is going to spread through a lot of areas.  Its nice to
see someone taking the road to try and bring akio down legally.
just remember...to be invovled with the duels..your character will
have to know how to use a sword...perhaps his father or mother was a
former duelist?
the only rose colors currently taken are green (Saionji), Red
(touga), Blue (Mikki), Orange (Juri), and White (Anthy/Utena).
Other characters had extremely odd roses (like AmronAroke-who my sn
is named after) like metallic silver and crystal.  Pick something
unique to yourself...as well as a weapon.
Saionji: a katana, Nanami: a Scimitar and dagger, Juri: a french
broadsword, Mikki: a rapier.  Even made ups had something unique.
Amron (again, my own character) had two (three) weapons he used.
one was a black Rune-encrusted Two-handed sword, and the other two
were paired short-swords.
and yes, unrequited love makes for an interesting storyline...dont
you agree shini?  poor amron..pining away for Juri..and its too bad

* - Grades are done in the Japanese way, so it goes(Elementary 1-6,
Middle School 7-9, High School 10-12). So if you wanted a character
to be in tenth grade, you'd call their grade High School 1st year.
** - If you're not in the duels, don't bother with rose color. If
you are involved with the duels, try to steer clear of colors used
by other original characters(and, idealistically, series characters,
but they've taken a good portion of the colors out there).
*** - Students wear the uniform, but if they work for the school
or are unaffliated with the school, this is where
you say what they wear.
**** - A quick search should bring you the common blood personality
types. This is included since there is an occasional discussion
about it in the series

Have fun and keep your characters original! Please don't use them to
'hook up' and remember that the other person has a say in the
romance, so don't immediatly assume that just because your character
has feelings for someone, that they will be mirrored by that person.
