The Trails at Woodlot Homeowner's Association Listserv to foster greater communication, sharing of resources and friendship in our idyllic community in Columbia, Maryland. Woodlot rests on 66 wooded acres nestled between Hobbit's Glen and the Swansfield neighborhoods of Columbia and is surrounded by the Clarksville Environmental Area which is adjacent to the Middle Patuxent Environmental Area and is designated as permanent open space.

Woodlot was developed in the early to mid 1990's in two phases with Phase 1 on 44 acres being primarily Woodlot Road and Woodnote Lane and Phase 2 being primarily Woodlot Road to the end of the property. There are 122 total residences with 32 Luxury Townhomes and 90 Single Family Homes. The majority of the homes were built by Ryland and Patriot Homes with about five custom Williamsburg's and one Hallmark homes. Over three times the county required undeveloped open space was set aside leaving substantial open lots and borders providing privacy and isolation while being located right in the heart of the original sections of Columbia and very close to Town Center.
