No one reads the Surah Ar-Rahman and cannot sense but an invitation:
Come close! Come see Me! This Surah (Chapter) of Qur'an is
invitation for all humanity to leave their daily lives and set sails
to meet the Resplendent Beauty of Ar-Rahman, the Most Beneficent of
here and The Most Benevolent of Hereafter, unconditionally Ar-Rahman
whether the sailor is believer or unbeliever, the object of every
love, the solace for every broken heart, if you saw any beauty
indeed you saw the effulgence of Ar-Rahman and if you loved anyone
indeed it was Ar-Rahman that you loved.

They key concepts in this exegesis are as follows:

1. Man learned from Allah knowledge prior to his creation! Not
the other way around.
2. This one-on-one teaching took place in the realm of Souls
and not anywhere close to what we understand as intellect or mind.
This teaching has no learning, the very act of such teaching is the
blessing of Ar-Rahman and the subject that learns or the student of
this teaching is of little importance in comparison to the
beneficence of Ar-Rahman's teachings.
3. Rahman and Rahim are concomitants often paired in the
Prophetic Dhikrs and their relationship and difference is outlined.
4. What we see as the Qur'an, a book with pages and printing
ink, is not the Primordial Kitab (Book) that had Wujud (Being-ness)
prior to the creation of everything.

You find the Tafsir of the luminaries as they appear in the text:

Imam Ali, Ibn Abbas, `Uthman, Abu Bakr, Zainul Islam (Beauty of
Islam) Qushairi, Suyuti, Baqilani, Ibn Arabi, Tabari, Fakhred-Din
Razi, Abu Bakr Razi, Qurtubi, Al-Mawardi, Tustari, Baqli Shirazi,
Aby Hayyan.

This was possible, in parts, again as a generous donation by Dr.
Hind Rifai.
