This is an attempt to reproduce some Indian based literature to show
their influence on Sufism. There are many rumors circulating around
claiming Sufism being the brainchild of the Indian mystics and that is
not true. In this humble first attempt you can see the influence of
the fantastic presentational arts of India into both Farsi & Arabic
literature. In comparing this work with that of Attar's Speech of the
Birds you can see the anthropomorphic Indian influence.

In Ref [2] you can see the Pine imagery of the Sufism and in Ref [3]
you can see the proverbial influence into Sufism.

All and all Sufism enjoyed the expansion into Indian poetic arts, to
save itself from the stagnation of the Safavy empire, but I am yet to
see the Indian ideological influence into Sufism.
