Hafez's book of Ghazals are the road map of a Salek (Traveler) upon
the Divine Path. They are not teachings or wise admonishment as
thought by some, indeed they are the autobiography of a Morid (Seeker)
solely dedicated to his spiritual journey.

Hafez did not believe in cliché asceticism rather believed in serving
the people on his path, no matter whom and no matter what their need
and no matter what the causes of their distress.
