Kitabut Tauhid Wa `Ithbatu Sifater Rabb: The Book of Tauhid (Divine
Oneness) and attestation/confirmation for the attributes of the Lord

By Muhammad Ibn Is-haq Ibn Khazima 3rd Century

Allah's Nafs
http://www.untiredwithloving.org/allah_nafs.html

In some verses of Qur'an and in many Prophetic Narrations you may
read the word Nafs as in Allah's Nafs (Self). Is this a figure of
speech? Or does Allah posses an attribute called Nafs (Self)? And if
so what is this Nafs and how it matters in our spiritual endeavor?

Both opposing points of view are provided for those who are
interested to study the Divine Words seriously.

This debate stretched thoughout the centruries, however these days
it is left in a dusty corner of Islamic history, and we hope that
the readers spark the new arguments to revive the research for the
Divine Names and Attributes of our Beloved.

Ibn Khazima and his Sheikhs and contemporaries where the luminaries
of the third century of Islam in Tauhid, residing in Nishapour and
Khorasan province at large.
