Description

The chapter of the Barony of Thescorre is the Rochester, NY chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism. This Society is dedicated to the study and recreation of the Middle Ages not as they were, but as they should have been. As members of the Society, we relive the way people dressed, fought, danced, cooked, brewed, built, etc. In short, our interests and range of research is as varied as our 30,000+ members world-wide. Thescorre encompasses the area bordered by Lake Ontario, Leroy, Mt. Morris, and Newark, NY. It is one of the oldest baronies in the Kingdom of Æthelmearc, which includes central and western New York, western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
