i think I have heard of them, but never seen the habits. The Alexian Brothers
who work with the sick here in America and elsewhere in the world, also have a
branch of sisters. I believe their habit is black, but they have no convents in
the United States,only in Germany, Belgium,etc. That's like only recently here
the Norbertine Canonesses came to California. Some of these mens orders used to
have, or still have womens communities attached to them, but in their native
country like Italy,etc.They never came to the US.
