Welcome to The Real Astrology! Our list focus is horary astrology as taught by British astrologer John Frawley. Our mission: to support the growth of astrological skills through discussion of horary charts, and exchange of ideas and information on traditional technique. Recommended texts include William Lilly's "Christian Astrology" and works of Bonatus, Al-Biruni, Gadsbury, et al, and especially John Frawley's published works: "The Real Astrology", "The Real Astrology Applied", "The Horary Textbook", "Sports Astrology" and articles from "The Astrologer's Apprentice" magazine. Anybody with a sincere interest in traditional horary is welcome. We limit the use of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto to close aspects to angles or significators, and we use only the Ptolemaic aspects. We do not use asteroids or other bodies of that nature. When posting data, please include local time zone, Ascendant sign and degree, the name of town, city, etc. as well as coordinates if location is in the boonies.
