It started 4 years ago when I was moved to create a list of people who were eager to pray for others. This desire I witnessed by the willingness to pass along "prayer request spam or hoaxes" by so many that I know and didn't know. I kept thinking there just had to be a better way to utilize our prayer time for others and God began to move me to start a private list of my friends and aquaintences (that I previously ran through my private email address). I was spurred into action by a little boy named Ben, whom I've never met but whose Mom made a plea for prayers for on another list we were on and for whom God gave me a tremendous burden. You see, Ben was diagnosed with a life threatening brain tumor. It was through the dedication and prayers of these prayer warriors and faith in God, I believe, that guided the hands of the doctors, strengthened the frail little body of Ben and kept him with us. Though he still has challenges to face, he has come so much further than what was first expected. So, Ben, I dedicate this group to you as the inspiration that broke this human's heart and allowed the spirit to move her to creating this list. Namaste' little friend.
