This is a group for the discussion and exchange of ideas in running Theosophical Lodges, mainly from the original Theosophical Society (Adyar), although members of the Theosophical Society (Pasadena), the ULT, and independent Lodges are also welcome.

While certainly criticisms can be made, please make them constructive in nature, and please let's keep personalities out of this (except in obvious cases, such as "such and such a speaker got a poor reception in our Lodge because the talk was too simplistic/complicated/Christian/etc.")

What we are looking for in this group are things like ways of attracting people to a Lodge, ways of retaining membership, ideas for activities, setting up exchanges of speakers, and things of that order, concentrating on the positive rather than the negative.

The list is unmoderated. However, if a user is acting out of the spirit of this group, the user will be asked to please stop doing so, and if they refuse, further measures will be decided on a case by case basis. So please, try to be nice?
