John: "Idea's" or Concepts (I take this to mean "Kernel Concepts" ),
this has not been clear to me and possible others."
Bri: I attempted to make my objectives clear (but with so many
postings things go sometimes unnoticed) in an earlier I
explained: "My own current area of research/fascination is regarding
the origin of the teachings (source material) utelised in Blavatsky's
writings. And the subject of an "imagined" orient, and an "imagined"
Egypt that enterred the esoteric discourse of the 19th century, and
develloped further in the 20th century."

Reg.With the UFO and conspiracy theorie subject this past week
I am answerring a
question pointed at me earlier this year (2002) on this list.

Also maybe I should give my personal opinion at this point about
Blavatsky, some people interpret this to be a negative, but this is
not true. In fact have several times stated to Steve, that I think
she was a genius. Be also a bit of a cunning one, and living in a
men's world so that is onother reason I think why her "Mahatmas"
(notice they are all men) backing her, an important concept for her
to promote.

In fact as I have stated before I dare to claim that I am more pro
H.P.Blavatskaya then most TS members with their "HPB" that take her
credit away by crediting most of her work to the "Masters" ( I have
expressed that according to the confirmations I have been able to
find, Paul K.Johnson in his The Master Revealed is the most right on
from all the books on the subject so far. So its not that I don't
believe in real happenings or life and blood people that time,
although viewing the history of the TS imaginative experiences can
also at times have played a role.)

This includes that if Blavatky's writings where not surrounded by the
superstitious wonder creating mythologys of the TS (with nonsense
claims of materializations and so, she doesn't need that anymore),
which shys every common thinking person away, Blavatsky would be
heralded in the mainstream history books as one of the great
philosophical/religious (esoteric) writers of the 19th century. Even
all the concepts are outdated of course, and date partly back to
renaissance ideas and neo-Platonism. Just as Laplace who is also
outdated by now, is yet still acknowledged to be one of the major
19th century scientists , and every university student knows about
him.

John: "In reg. to the Central Sun and the link I posted, I agree and
now that we agree that the Central Sun is not that then to what are
we to look? You cite Randolph.and true it may well be he made mention
but it makes me wonder this:Where did he get the term?"

Bri.: That's an interesting question, will look into that and try to
come back with an answer soon,it will take a few days to research
that.

As far of some of the UFO people not having heared of Blavatsky and
still be indirectly influenced by the ideas she re-injected (don't
forget Swedenborg also talked already about traveling from/ to other
planets and the people that lived on "Mars and Venus".) in modern
esotericism and borderland science, that can be easely traced as I
have partly done.

For shure Adamsky the father of the contact movement with his Royal
Order of Tibet was a Theosophist before, and George King the founder
of the Aetherius society's parents where TS members so he grew up
with that, and so on.

John: "UFO's remain an enigma."

Bri.: Most of it can be explained by now, but it takes digging to put
together the evidence. Certainly it is one of the most confused
subjects on the internet if you don't know where to look for. That's
why, although personally I would appreciate it, it might confuse the
list more then it clarifies to place UFO links.

But why not weight things of for yourself and give us your final
analyses at this time on the subject. What has been proven as far as
you are able to show, what not, where do we stand with the subject
today ? Probably good for yourself after the many years of interrest
in this try to come to a conclusion for yourself.

It certainly would fit in with our current theosophical discussion.
