Description
The Objectivist Club at UCI is a student organization based on promoting the study of Objectivism, the philosophy of Ayn Rand, author of Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead. The club hosts lectures and debates, watches and listens to recorded lectures (VHS, DVD, and/or audiotape) on various issues, holds discussion groups, and studies Ayn Rand's novels and nonfiction.
Knowledge or agreement of Ayn Rand is not required to attend meetings or events or take advantage of what the club provides. All that is needed is respectful conduct and a desire to learn.
