The Lost Word is a Masonic education list for Masons and non-Masons. It is a home for the weary traveler of any path. It is a place for open-minded Masons and non-Masons to grow and experience Masonry as full as possible outside of a lodge. While matters reserved for the lodge are not allowed on the list, the wide Masonic experience permitted for all is encouraged.

Matters of history, symbolism, philosophy, architecture as well as the arts and sciences are open for exploration on this list. Also invited is light chat and lodge/grand lodge announcements.

The simple goal is Masonic education in a stimulating environment.
