I want to make sure I take time to thank you for all of your posts
that you make. I have really been longing for active members of this
group. I am so sorry I can't always respond to your posts quickly. I
have a baby one the way (Feb.), I just moved, my computer doesn't
like working, we have no phone and home, let alone internet, and I
can only access the internet once a week or so. Thanks so much!

to make the below recipe, as it's a family favorite, so I thought I'd
share with you... This is for one batch of them, but I generally make
3-4 batches at a time. Also, for those of you who aren't sausage
lovers, I'm not either... yet I LOVE these beans, and the sausage is
excellent in them! (I generally use Jimmy Dean Original Sausage, but
if you can get your hands on some spicy Italian sausage, that's a big
hit, too. Since I make 4 batches of the beans at a time, if I want to
use Italian sausage, I go half Italian, half Jimmy Dean Original)

without a cover. If you like them more runny, keep aluminum foil on
top. Or if you do it in a dutch oven, you can decide whether or not
to have a lid on. Sometimes I cook it without the lid, then check
them halfway through to see if it needs a lid. Anyway, they're mighty
tasty!
