Congrats Mergret!!!
I'm excited for you! Motherhood is an adventure. :D I don't know what kind of garb you normally wear, is that late Tudor? I don't really have much experience with that garb+pregnancy/nursing, but anything that is easily expandable around the bust & waist for pregnancy or has seams near your breasts for nursing could probably be adaptable. There may even be some woodcut illustrations from the era of pregnant/nursing mothers. Most kids like the SCA stuff - they'll be playing along with you!
*bright blessings*
Gwenllian ferch Blodeuwedd aka Llio (Barony of Rivenstar - Middle Kingdom)
Welsh-Norman in Cheptow, Wales 1239 (although *gulp* I'm thinking of changing after 8 yrs...)
(mother of two little fellas - Ethan 4 1/2 & Colin 2, daughter of Marguerite D'Edon)

I am about to be a single mom, 42 and expecting my first child October 26th of this year. And of course I am going to subject my child to this madness of a game *L* So I will be sewing garb and making period toys for it as well.
